Hyaluronic (LMW) Acid Powder
Please Note that this grade of Hyaluronic Acid is a Low Molecular Weight (LMW) Hyaluronic acid and as such it will not form a gel base when added to water. The weight of this Hyaluronic Acid ranges from 8,000 - 50,000 Da.
Origin: Biotechnology - produced via microbial fermentation.
Key Actions on the skin: Hydration, Plumping, Active Delivery, Firming.
Heat Stability: Good during manufacturing. The ingredient can be added into your water phase prior to forming an emulsion. Even though the powder will not swell and form a gel it still needs water to hydrate. Adding the powder into a finished emulsion is not recommended.
pH Stability: Best before pH 4-9
Use in: Spritz Sprays for long-term moisturising claims, cleansers, serums, moisturisers and face masks. Can be used in any water containing formula.
Use level: From 0.1-10% but more commonly from 0.1-2%
